I have an older sunfish with a racing sail. Everything seems old but
adequate. The spars are older with the halyard going through the
mast cap as opposed to a block. My question is how feasible would it
be to attach a cleat to the bottom of the mast to secure the sail?
What type of cleat and how should it be fastened, materials, etc.
