I have two older fish and I wouldn't mind selling one. Both are very
cheap; both will need some tinkering. I don't need two. My goal is to
recover my own costs for one or the other.
1. A 1950's wooden kit boat with tapered aluminum mast. Needs two
modest bottom repairs, more minor TLC, and a patch on the sail (a
mouse made her home in it.) Wood boards of older style and earliest
sizes. $175
2. A 1970s Alcort boat. Has had two patches on the bottom, and needs
some additional modest glass work. Sail is present, tired, but usable
while finding another. Wood boards, newer type rudder. This would
just be a starter boat. $150
3. I can offer a trailer that was with one of the boats. Partly
painted, partly galvanized. Seems decent. The tires look good but
leak slowly, probably need some attention to their beads. (5 bolt
4.80-8) I will let it go for $125 with either of the boats, but will
not sell it otherwise. It's title is still in the previous owner's
name and he is willing to sign it over to the next party--but only for
a couple of weeks. After that I will need to title it in my own name
and that will add costs and cause delays.
I am located in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, about 1.5 hours from
Baltimore, right on I81 and the PA Turnpike, and close to I83.
Best,
