It's a state or county lake. I know of one double boat ramp. 50hp.
motor limit. It may be too shallow. How deep do you need for a
sunfish? Or is it people just sail else where. We do have Creve
Coeur, the mississippi(yes, alot people sail it) and a little farther
out Carlyle, Rend, Mark Twain. Anybody know of any other close by
lakes that aren't private?

Thanks for the info about using the daggerboard for leverage.
I just need to get something to keep it from getting away.
It has the retaining clips but they don't hold it in very well.
I have seen "retaining straps" in the shop at the marina.
I also need to replace my bailer. Those things can be done soon.
I live in Belleville, IL a few miles east of St. Louis, Mo.
I sail on 3 large lakes at Creve Coeur Lake in St. Louis, Carlyle
Lake in Carlyle, IL and
Rend Lake near Mt. Vernon, Il all are within an hour drive of my
house.
I also sail on a 50 acre lake near Pacific, Mo. A buddy owns a
house on the lake.
The weather people are calling for a partly cloudy weekend with
temps in the mid 60's here.
I may try to get in some sailing on my days off if it isn't too
chilly.
