Hi Joan
Great looking boat. For the Minifish the rigging guide suggests that the halyard be positioned at approximately 6 1/2 feet up from the foot of the upper boom. Yours looks a just a tad bit high. If you lower it one sail ring, you may leave the gooseneck where it is or slide it aft a bit. Some photos show the boom parallel to the deck, others with the outhaul end kicked up a bit. Find the setting that you like. We like our booms with enough clearance that we can duck under easily, with the outhaul raised up just a tiny bit
Also, the mast should be 9 feet, is there any chance that is a Sunfish mast that is 10 feet? Pictures of the Minifish are deceptive, the masts look tall, but I'd check it. Might look tall if the sail is up a bit high.
I suppose your sheet runs free and it is not cleated, some folks sail without cleats and fairleads for a bit to have the best feel on the sheet. All the early boats had was a sheet hook.

Cheers
