Tape it in place. You can also use a loop of duct tape with the adhesive
on the outside part of loop, then tape that to the lower spar. Can use a
35mm canister with the bottom cut out, garden hose,pvc, hose, nylon cloth,
canvas, oh you get the point... make a loop out of something and tape it
to you boom and go sailing. ;).
