That's a darn good idea! ? If there are a few folks who have never raced before someone more experienced could spend a few minutes with them on shore explaining rules, starting procedures and tactics. If the weather is nice, and not too challenging, they could start a few minutes behind the normal racing crowd, on the starting line that wouldn't be too crowded, and maybe take a shorter course around the buoys to get some experience. ? This is a complicated sport and once someone has just a little bit of personal instruction things fall into place pretty quickly. ? Best regards, ? Mark ? ?

I've been thinking that the race folks could figure out a way to add on a few fun sails where recreational folks could come out, maybe take a few tries at the course or just a fun day sail.
