I totally love this group, this list!? Same way as I did for the original Gerry Vanagon List.? Years later, I discovered Facebook Vanagon Owners Group and also Facebook Vanagon Cafe---I have learned much from all of these, and once in a while I try to contribute.? Of course the thing is immediate gratification, plus the superb method of sharing pics, videos, and all the resulting comments....and they happen very fast.? I think it's a good thing.
Is there some Facebook group especially for Subie converted Vanagons?

Warren Chapmen once sprawled his 6'4" frame into my homemade Vanagon camper.? I didn't know who he was.? I think this was about 2007 or so at Busses by the Bridge.? He said, "Hey, this is pretty nice!"? We got to talkin'....I asked him about Subaru EJ22 conversions.....he said, "Yes, they are good, smooth, reliable, and a big upgrade.? But you aren't going to burn rubber.? Yes, they will make it up the grades as never before.? Yes, I think you would like it."? Anyway, this is all to say, I think Warren would totally love Facebook.

I'm glad this group is NOT FB for SO many reasons!
One might think with as much technology FB has knowing and at matching user's interests with the content of there if it wasn't being pushed at the user it would at least be easy to find.
.... Even though phrased cleverly, the post is like walking into (pick your own reference) a Bears game saying, "Hey I love this Refrigerator Guy and the other players on this Bear team and have you checked out the Green Bay Packer team, any guys like that on there?" Andy 505-304-5306

Thanks Andrew. Folks, if you like Facebook you should head on over there and enjoy all the benefits that they offer. But I would urge you to first watch “The Great Hack” so that you make your decisions knowingly. In the meantime, please continue to add to our knowledge repository. And let’s keep this post thread short. ?Not sure it really benefits many users. Best,

FB exposed: I referred to FB as " Fecebook" in a private email to a friend. The next time I signed on to my FB account, all messages were in an as yet unidentified language!. My take is that FB monitors not onlywhat you do on FB, but what you do in your private email as well. Way too much unchecked power, IMHO.

Now....back to your regular SubaruVanagon posts, which I always find very interesting, informative, educational, and of great value.?? My goof.
