With all due respect the most common failure would be the belt itself, followed by the tensioner, followed by the cogged pulley. And yes why green ? I consider Japan made Aisin oem in my head. At least quality equivalent or like you said the exact same. Water pump for example, seems to be made by them and is top quality. Another item Subaru mechanics will tell you never fails, but never is a long time?
