I also have the exact same high RPM issue as Billy. I have cleaned the entire throttle body and set the TPS to .500v. I have a van cafe VSS sensor that is showing close to accurate speed on the ObdII scanner. Idles around 1100rpm and when I start rolling forward it will climb to 3200rpm and hang there.?
1990 Syncro with a 2006 EJ25 with a throttle cable.
