I have hoping for a more complete answer.? This is my third Vanagon and the first with a Subaru engine.?? Van is in Deland, FL.?
Is it safe to run the van after engine backfires during starting?
I have had van since 2019, and engine operation has been perfect until now.
Some technical assistance would be appreciated.
