Have you tried wiggling the wiring harness in different places while it¡¯s running at idle? Could be you have a short or bad connection somewhere in your harness.

I have not VSS signal ATM.? I have plans to use my the signal off the speedometer converting that signal to 5V with a relay.? I bought al the parts but have not installed it yet (weather, my van was in the garage but since I took it out that space has been filled :( ).?
