First thing I would check is Battery Voltage.
( If voltage is low,,,
My guess is that you've wired in the new Alternator wrong.

Wayne's feedback is very good.? I'd suggest starting your troubleshooting process by checking the fuses that were installed as part of your conversion.? Most are likely located in the engine bay black box.
My money's on:
1: Blown Fuse
2: Bad connection
