Re: Fuel Injector choices...

fwiw,
I have not found them to wear or be faulty in any way ever.

what I have found is them stuck from sitting for years with fuel in
them...and I was able unstick them.

I have also found the o-ring in the bottom of the bowl the injector sits
in deterorated and cracked..
which will lead to flooding of that cylinder anytime there is fuel pressure.
It 'looks' like a leaking fuel injector, but it isn't really.
I suspect many have been replaced, thinking it's a leaking injector,
when it's just the o-ring in the bottom of the bowl.

I had to make an injector holder/tester out of an old SVX fuel rail to
be able to test them easily ..
sort of like one can on a waterboxer engine.

once cleaned, treawted, and working smoothly ..the produce a very nice
twin spray pattern .

I don't trust rebuilt fuel injectors very much myself.
I doubt anything is as good as a genuine subaru fuel injector.
plus I don't think they really go bad anyway ...original ones. They
just need cleaning and treating.

Hello All, Does anyone have a choice fuel injector to go with for a
'93 2.2 legacy engine? Opinions on Beck Arnley, Subaru OEM, GB or
Bosch. Or any I havent mentioned. Then new vs. rebuilt/remanufactured?
Any opinions would be great? Thanks.
