Might as well get the flow the same as with the
vanagon so that the coolant flows in the same
direction through the heater cores.
I'm not sure if you're asking about the engine or the heater. The port
that comes from a casting right below the intake manifold is the output
port from the engine (to the heater). The other port snakes around and
ends up next to the thermostat housing. This is the input port to the
engine. I don't know about the heater.
