No plate on my under mount, only a lube plate on the outside of the gear cover.
Dave, do you still need help? I can go count my gears if needed.

It could be that it actually has a metric lead screw and gear box. In that case cutting inch threads is much like cutting metric threads on an inch lathe and cross slide and compound will be in mm.,

I’m picking up a 1980s vintage 10k with quick change. The end gears have been set up for metric. Is there a schematic for setting it up standard setting again. I have gears that came with it but
