Going back a lot of years…. I bought the crossslide casting/instructions kit and completed it. Been on my 10k ever since and never give it a second thought. I bought a number of MLAs other SB kits and have been happy with all of them. I think I still have 3 kits left to build.

In the old days, they would let the parts age a year or more to relieve the stresses.

they are " stress relieved where necessary " just what does that mean ? I
have a bud that's gonna give me the cast iron .
