Damn. Dump him before he hurts you.
Get
??? I know that , however when the office talks about how
great the new patient portal is so you can talk to your dr
through it & then in my case my dr is the head guy at the
clinic . He only works 2 days a week , has forgotten to send
renewals for my meds 3 times? . As far is the issue today? I
contacted the pharmacy like we talked about when he agreed to
change my meds & then I reach out to him through the
portal like we agreed in my office visit & he does not
reply to my mail . I talked to the clinic yesterday & they
told me he did get & read my mail last week & still
nothing . That's where my issue is . I'm not askin for
anything that had not been discussed prior . My wife thinks he
just does not what to do with me .
Anyways , let's get Mattyn's lathe goin .

Animal,
the doctors are not allowed to dispense medical advice via
email. They can lose their license. It is a pain in the butt
to go to the office to speak with them, but many now allow
virtual visits, and you can have a zoom meeting with the
doctor to discuss your concerns.?
Best wishes for her . I never sleep & barely eat when
I'm in the hospital , that's way I usually sleep for a few
days when I get home . My dr agreed 2 weeks back to change
some of my meds , after several e-mails with no response
he's gonna have one less patient . I don't understand why
alot of dr's can't get it through their heads that
communication is very important .
good luck

Got to much going
on to worry too much about it. Wife has been in the
hospital since last Friday, partial blockage of the
small intestine. Hasn't had anything to eat since
either lunch last Wednesday, or possibly breakfast
that Thursday. And she's PO'd at me enough that I
may be getting a divorce, or at least a separation.
World has gone just a little bit crazy, and that's
without looking out at the rest of the world. :(?
?She said something about a possible tumor, but that
doesn't happen is just a few days. They've been
keeping her pretty doped up, so may be her
imagination, maybe not. Last I talked to the doc he
hadn't been able to look at the x-ray and CT scan
reports or images. That was day before yesterday.
I'm having vertigo problems today, myself, so
sitting at the computer after eating and drinking
something. Been missing a lot of sleep the past few
days, too. Likewise meals and such. She got cleared
for clear liquids today, and that is about all I
know at this point in time.?

If the alligator clips are
making noise, you (or whoever install them
didn't do it right. I've done a few for my

won't be much help to you. The clips
should sink into the leather or composite
belting a bit. We did it with a vise and
the specialty tool for that purpose. You
can bevel, glue, and lace them your self,
also. You can also buy them for small
money, if you don't really have the time
or skill to DIY. If I can ever get my
Heavy 10L together, I'll buy the belt
unless WWIII has already gone hot!

went to Tandy Leather & bought a

The clicking of the alligator belts

Look around in the industrial

Hi,
Just joined the group.
Martyn is the name .
We have an old Southbend lathe, 14
1/2" swing 7ft bed, I believe to be
1940s, with quick change gearbox.
This is in our workshop used for all
manor of things related to the motor
trade. We build engines, race prep
etc.
We are in the UK by the way.
We are in need of a new flat belt for
the south bend 1 3/8" wide and 69-70"
long.
Where would we get one of these and
the joiner for it? Ours is currently
joined with cable ties....yes I
know...not the best way, but it works.
Is there anywhere in the Uk that
supplies these or would it be just US?
Any help from UK or US Southbend users
would be appreciated.
