Re: Small Tool and Die Shop Liquidation

I'm reasonably happy, too. It would be a shame to have spent all these years collecting this stuff and not get to play with it all. ;)

I have a 3" Indian rotary table that I got several years ago, and just recently bought one of the Vevor BS-0 clone universal dividing heads. Might need to find the rotary table a new home. The dividing head takes up about the same amount of cubage as the little drill press did...I paid about $70 including shipping for the rotary table, and it's quite a bit smaller. It's still unused, so couldn't tell you how accurate it is, but it feels nice and smooth to me. And I'm certainly open to trades. :) This is my hobby, not a business, so no profit motive.

Well, i am happy you are not in any health emergency.?

Don't worry, I am somewhat in the same boat with you. I need to thin my heard a little bit to gain some room to breathe. I could still use a small rotary table at some point.

It is cruel of you to remind me of that truth!? Though I have given my little drill press to the? neighb@or. That gave me back 8" or so of workbench space!? :)? Still working on the stinking wheelchair lift, or I'd have more of the shop kicked into shape.
?
Spent some time at the ER yesterday, been having a bit of tightness in my chest and SWMBO threw a fit about it yesterday. She didn't get that it wasn't pain, just tightness. I'm mildly asthmatic, and been stirring up dust like crazy. EKG & bloodwork are all normal. Dad had his 1st heart attack at 50, and I'm 68, but I was never the drinker or smoker he was. Would rather have done this as a regular appointment, but know I'm in relatively good shape. Though it pretty much ate the whole day. Might have had the lift fixed by now.?

Not to mention, Bill, that you have no place to put a safety pin, much less a surface grinder and a mill.?

I'd be interested in the surface grinder & heat treat oven, and maybe the millerite mill & vise, myself. I wouldn't be able to go pick them up though. Shipping is going to be costly, as well. Means I'm probably out of the market.?

I would rather sell them than move them, but I don't want to give them away either.

The house is going up for sale probably in November and I would like them out of there by then.
