Chapter 16 will be posted to fanfiction.net, but it will be posted twice to this yahoo group. The first version of chapter 16 will be identical to what will be posted on fanfic.net. hum, a good chapter, the sex scene wasn't too embarassing, and the rest was quite good :-) You know, harry should wear a shield spell on him constantly...Also, i do hope harry extract revenge.

I've finished editing Chapter 16 and it's going through the final read-through now. I debated about yanking out the sex in this chapter, but knew Bob would kill me, and I'd probably be stoned by some of you here if I did. Besides, I added a bit to it, and I hate tossing out work. So, if you like the scene, great! If you don't, blame Bob! Yep, that works for me. ~Alyx~

Hi I'm a newbie and was interested in seeing a site for this story and I admit to qanting to see the other or adult chapter 16. One little pet peeze about this great story...why hasn't there been more volde attacks agianst harry? maybe I just need to read the thing agian. Another is the fact that Dumbledore seems to have given up attacks on harry, understandeble what with the last attempt, but I just thought that he would try something with the others... It will probably all be revealed and I'll just be patient. Before signing off I just want to say that I usually stay away from the more political or emotional stories as I'm more of an action fanatic but this just draws you in. A long well thought out story with a plot and even smut. I didn't think such things exist! :) You keep writing and I'll keep reading.

Hello, everyone. I am a new member here, and it is an honor to be here at a site that is hosted by the one who created "Sunset Over Britian". That fanfic is tight! One of the best I have ever read! The author who created it is a very excellent writer, well compared to me that is. I have a long way to go before I reach anywhere near his level. In any case, its good to be part of this group.

Bob...shit/shite may not have been the best example to use because shite isn't really a euphemism. It is a Brit-ism. Granted not all Brit speakers use it but some do and it at one time it was the common usage. In my writing I tend to have the Muggleborn/younger group use shit, and the wizard-born/older generation use shite...especially in dialog. (and no I don't really try to go over board with trying to write accents..which is one of my pet peeves...too many stories with Fleur's accent being so 'eavee there is absolutely no way in hell of figuring out what she is saying) One of my freinds in college was Brit born and raised in Hong Kong (her parents moved there when she was 8 or 10), and she was one of the ones who used it with great frequncy...

I wonder what would happen if Harry sent a charmed parchment to Molly, one that would let her (or rather make her) visit her dead brothers and let them give her a piece of their minds. Just an idea.

Hello, First off, I've got to say that you are one of my favorite authors. You write really well, and I can count on you to post chapters. Secondly, while I enjoy this new story of yours there is one thing I don't like about it. The constant give and take. Dumbledore/Molly/Prophet/ect. continually attacks Harry and he doesnt do much back. He gets madder and madder...but keeps his cool. Now, I know this is a fanfic and I know you have a plot (one of the things I like about you) but I just can't see how Harry has kept his cool this long. In canon-and with anyone really-he would have snapped long ago....plans or no. As much as I like this story, the give and take is getting old. We (the readers) know Dumbledore is evil, Molly and Ron are evil, the Ministry is full of idiots. You've established that. I won't tell you how to write your own fiction...but please get to the action soon because the give and take/actions & reactions is just getting old and is slowly killing this fic. My long rant done, I really do enjoy your fiction...even if I dont like the direction you're taking it. Keep up the good work! Brian

Just a couple of paragraphs earlier he stated openly that he considered Narcissa & Draco family. I can't see him not getting highly pissed off at an attempt to murder a member of his family. While you stated that (A.) He can't slag Hogwarts right now, he needs it and (B.) That means he can't kill Dumbledore either. In your authors notes. Even you must admit that getting mad and getting even are two different caldrons. The shack… Who owns it? If it's Harry then I wouldn't get to comfortable if I was Snape. Hello there. On FF.net, I have the screen name BenRG, so Bob and Alyx will know that I review each chapter of 'Sunset'. When I read that you have a Yahoo!Group, I decided to join just in case there are even more goodies here!

Okay, I just found this group and joined to make sure I get all of the new chapters (just like most of my other groups). I just hope that I can actually read them. Too many Doc files are almost hopelessly corrupted. In any case, I've always assumed that the Wizengamot was the traditional government, but that the Ministry was responsible for enforcing the secrecy of the Wizarding World and assumed supremacy after the decision to go completely underground in 1692.

I'm not going to bug you about the major plot twist or the SEX I just got one question. Why Sybil to head up the vipers pit? I always thought Sinistra was a Slytherin. But I guess I read too many fanfic's.

Very nice chapter, I thought I would leave the sex scene one alone, before I start bugging you to do this for other stories *grin* (if you continue ot write that is). Nice to the little Remus and Dan bonding session. Kinda of like future father-in-laws bonding (if you catch my drift). Loved to see that you had Fudge as the evil little piece of **** in your story as he is in canon. I was worried htat he would still be alive at the end of this fic. But now I am interested in what happened to Percy to get him to kill Fudge and how he got the dark mark. Oh the Ginny, Neville and Harry scene was just too much, you had me laughing myself silly with that, espically since if McGonagall didn't interupt he would have been hit with some Bat-bogeys. Did Arthur actually disinherit Molly and Ron or was it more of a threat right now? Oh thank you for getting that greasy git, oh how I will love seeing him die, hopefully slowly and painfully, as Harry will want revenge. Plus when he hears that he won't have the funding for his research, oh he is going to throw a little tantrum at that. He may have to be careful or might just soil himself if he exerts himself too much *snicker* Lastly, how many more chapters are you planning for this story before you decide to end it and start your sequel?

I am looking for a fic named "Apprentice Potter". This is a story where Harry is apprenticed to Blaise Zabini's (female) grandfather and Harry later mannages to off Voldy. Can anyone tell me where this fic is located. It used to be on ff.net but it's not there now. Any ideas? David
