Fan Fiction Issues

Hello all:

?

Since yesterday, I have not been able to view any stories on FFN. I am getting the notifications in my inbox abut updates, but when I click on the link, I am sent to a page telling me that no story exists, or that the page can’t be viewed.

Is anyone else having similar issues?

Any news would be greatly appreciated.

I have had that issue and when I look at the Author's profile page there is no such story

Come all ye Riders heed the call.

Oh, I can still go to the author’s profile page and read anything that has already been posted, it’s just the most recent stories from the past couple of days that aren’t showing up.

And unfortunately, that includes the latest chappy of Hermione’s Epiphany by our local resident, Mark the Unruly.

Well, all I can add to this discussion is further confirmation.
Two of the stories I follow at ao3, that also have a presence at ffn illustrate the problem. Both of them have updated in the past 24 hours. However, only ao3 has the new chapters. Ffn does not, no way to even reach a link presenting the error you are getting as I am not setup for chapter update notifications from ffn. I just have the author's page saved as a bookmark in one of my browsers.
So, lots of folks are experiencing the same sort of thing.
Karen

I think ff.net now requires a mod to approve a story post. It takes upto 48 hours to see an updated work

That would not fit one of the stories in question, its comparative chapter posted more than 24 hours ago.
If ffn does not trust their writers, then they have a problem.
All the more reason to use more than one platform for one's stories, speaking personally.

Is there any way to find out if this is true? I know FFN isn’t great about communicating outside the forums (if they even communicate to the user base in the forums), but yikes and double yikes if they have broken down this much. I’m glad I decided to go to only posting on AO3
