Ch. 14 - Amesbury, England
Okay, my reading of the new prophecy ... Lucius Malfoy's efforts to
destabilize things in the Muggle world will continue until somebody manages to drop a missle (or maybe a flaming airplane) on "ancient stones." This could be Hogwarts, but I don't think so, since taking Hogwarts is one of Voldemort's goals. It could also be Stonehenge, if only because that's the most ancient set of stones anybody thinks about in England, and it's been linked with Merlin in its mythology. But there's another set of stones, equally as old and also having Merlin links: Amesbury, a stone circle big enough to have a town in the middle of it ... the town where Norma Brown seems to live. I don't think you would have brought that specific town into the story without a reason. So I think it's the Amesbury circle (and town) that will be blown up, thus starting the twenty days that Harry's group will have for the evacuation. The question is whether that site is picked for Muggle reasons, for Voldemort's reasons, or as a result of what Molly Weasley has done, getting Norma Brown involved. I can't wait to find out. And Dorothy, kick kinsifire in the butt and remind him that he has some wonderful stories that are in desparate need of a update. :D - Bob |

Yes, AVEBURY is the town in the middle of the circle.Avebury. I found a website with nice photos of it.Ohh I love a mystery. Bongo-grams! What could it mean? AMESBURY is the town nearest Stonehenge, which also has *another* smaller circle and the ruins of the abbey where Guinevere was supposedly cloistered. So there's Arthurian connotations all over the place. And Stonehenge/Amesbury would probably go down together. And I still think that the town has some significance, unless Bob and Alyx are just going to add a little "canon character death" pathos by blowing up Lavender Brown when she's home for Easter hols. Of course, Avebury really isn't all that far from Amesbury/Stonehenge either. We shall just have to wait and see. Dorothy |
开云体育I actually have the next chapters of several of my
In Progress stories open in my word processor.? I did a count, and I have
EIGHT stories in need of completion, in various stages thereof.? I've
probably the shortest distance to the end with Like A Phoenix, which could end
in as few as three to five chapters (we'll see where it goes).? My Father's
Image is probably the one with the greatest distance to go, and the one I'm
working on slowest, because plans for it could devolve parts of the story into
PWP (either Porn Without Plot or Plot? What Plot?, depending on your
preferences).? It will tend toward more sex than I usually put in, with
something to probably offend everyone (femmeslash, some possible slash, at least
one possible instance of incest), but they all have SOMETHING to do with the
story, oddly enough.
?
I am working on them all, and am making copious
notes on another one that is insisting I write it, with so many cliches in it
that it becomes its own cliche.? Girl Who Lived is the twin sister of the
one everyone THINKS is the Boy Who Lived.? I refuse to start that one until
I get Phoenix or one of the others completed, at least.
?
Oh, for those curious, work has begun again, after
more than a year's hiatus, on Harry Potter and the Ring of Doom.? That's
one of the eight.
?
Does my ego wonders to see that someone whose
writing I respect likes my writing.

likes my writing. What I like is you manage to build a compelling story, and in most of your storys you throw in a dash of sex without making it seem gratuitious (sp?). You have several right now that I'm dying to see updates to that are wonderful stories. Family Matters - is a wonderful fiction (and its in our links) Like A Phoenix from the Ashes - is superb and I'm dying to see Ginny learn the truth and realize exactly what she's lost. Personally I'd suggest some very serious grovelling on her part before you even let Harry CONSIDER forgiving that girl. Sorcerer's Apprentice - another wonderful fic in need of an update. (Now I bet you wished you stuck with one fic at a time like we do...) Three for all - a Honks/Hermione fic. Normally I'm not a big fan of honks fics, but this one works if you ask me. Another fic in need of an update. All these fics can be found at If you're over 18, or of legal age in your country, and have some clue how humans procreate then I suggest looking into these. If you haven't a clue... well I'm sorry :) - Bob |

Like A Phoenix from the Ashes - is superb and I'm dying to see Ginny NOOO! No forgiveness! Aside from the Twins, the entire Weasley family are a bunch of backstabbing betrayers! Let them all suffer! No forgiveness only punishment and retribution!! *grins brightly* Let the wench suffer! Let the entire wizarding world know that she not only condones, but encourages rape and abuse, that she cant be trusted in the slightest! Let the family burn! *grins* *ahem* sorry, I get a bit carried away at times Cheers Finbar |

Well ok. But then if thats the case I want to see her tearing her hair out in anguish when she realizes what she's denied herself. Bill and Charlie must be publicily humiliated in the worst possible way. IE spread rumors that they are carrying a STD which they got from either Bellatrix LeStrange, or a goat. :D |

Let the family burn! *grins* << The difficulty with that idea is that Harry has already said that he still feels something for her. Now, that's very Harry, so I could see him forgiving her once she realises what really happened and why. Of course, _Hermione_ has said that she _won't_ forgive, and I can see the other girls having similar attitudes. So either way, Ginny is in for a deservedly hard time, and her only hope of redemption lies in the boy she's so traduced. Of course, the rest of the Weasleys, save only the twins, should receive no mercy. Well ok. But then if thats the case I want to see her tearing herhair out in anguish when she realizes what she's denied herself. I mean, there has to be some reason why Charlie is so fond of them... <eg> And frankly, I find your lack of creativity... disturbing. ;-) There are far worse fates than that. Well ok. But then if thats the case I want to see her tearing her hairYES! And that had she married Harry, the Weasley family would have wanted for nothing. Now they are poor and getting poorer. Bill and Charlie must be publicily humiliated in the worst possible way. IEOr snape? cheers Finbar |
