Author's notes on chapter 13

tessa_037

Alyx and Bob,
Granted HBP wasn't as great as GOF you still have to read it. It's
kind of like the second movies in the Star Wars movies. A necessary
evil. Alyx, why can't you finish The Stand, the book is WAY better
than the movie.
Tessa

It?€?s not that I can?€?t finish The Stand, it?€?s more like I don?€?t want
to. I?€?ve read It, Salem?€?s Lot, Firestarter, Desperation and the first
three books of the Dark Tower series and you know what I discovered?
I really don?€?t like Stephen King. I kept hoping each book would be
better than the last, but other than Salem?€?s Lot, which I did enjoy,
the others were rather boring.

Bob, however, has read all of JKR?€?s books and enjoyed them. He?€?s just
being a butthead about it. Although it would serve him right if I
read The Stand and forced his hand, don?€?t you think? *Evil Smirk*

I was freaked out by 'The Stand'

Of course, I was 2/3 of the way through it and caught a very very
nasty flu. The thick snot, bronchitis, boxes of tissues a day, fever
and fever induced hallucinations....
NOT the sort of thing you want to have right after reading about a
super-flu

Cheers

Yeah, but it kinda lost alot of it's thrill after I survived that flu
*snickers* That was the sickest two weeks I had ever had.
Once I was feeling alot better I was abale to pull my carcass to the
doctor who wanted to hospitalise me, as I only had a small percentage
of my lungs in use due to fluid from the congestion. She almost
fainted when I let her know I was feeling much better.
Didnt enjoy the book that much overall, never was a steven king fan.
Reminds me too much of Jeffery Archer and his style of writing.

Cheers

The joys of marriage. Proving your spouse wrong.

<ZanyMuggle>
What's to prove? We, the husbands, are always wrong! I learnt that
in my marriage training, I did.

*Whistles loudly* Hey Bob! You'll want to read this post and take
notes, dear! *Smirk*

how could I resist? I mean, he walked right into it and everything!

Enjoy your fifteen seconds of gloating m'dear. You and I both know I
can turn the accent off when need be. Besides, who ever heard of Harry
Potter sounding like Danny Devito? :p

BLoody Hell youz guys! Keep dis up and I'll have to wipe yer face all
ova da avenoo... :D

In twelve years you have NEVER been able to "turn the accent off".
Maybe tone it down a bit, but never turn it off.

*Looks around sheepishly* Okay, maybe we should stop filling the
board with this stuff since we're sitting across the room from each
other :D

STOP THE PRESSES!!!!

We're in Idaho? How come I didn't get the memo? I thought we were in a
very rural section of NYC! No wonder the pizza out here stinks. And
the bagels, and there are no knishes, and the people hate the Yankees...

Rural section of NYC? What, the lot down the street from our old
apartment that had six whole inches of dirt and a small weed growing
in it?

You are a strange, funny little man, aren't you? :p
