Children of Gaia

I am very curious where you got the idea for that from?

Obviously there wont be Faeries in your story (as you said in your
Authors Notes), but will we be hearing more about their effect on the
wizarding society of old?
Is there a tie in between them and the original Brotherhood of Druidic
Knights?

Dont get me wrong, I do like the idea of that explanation for what
luna is and that she appears distracted because of the sheer strength
of what she feels all the time. It's way cool. I am however a very
curious bastard

I've seen plenty of explanations as to why Luna seems to be so ditzy.
But none ever managed to tie in her wierd animal fetish. So I reached
into that font of creative inspiration and pulled the concept of the
Children of Gaia out of my butt. IE I made it up, it sounded cool and
thought, hey, if she's attuned to nature, lets call her a child of gaia.

She won't have any special talents that Harry will be using, although
I do foresee some scenes that will give Draco reason to pause and
think. :) I don't really like the draco character in canon, and after
HBP I'm sure people like the ferret even less. But what the hey. If I
can torment him in a nice way and make you readers laugh in the
process, then I'll have succeed in doing my job.

This is a fairly dark and dramatic fiction, so I try to add little
elements of humor into the mix to lighten things up. :)
