Also for those reading this message who are currently serving or have family member's currently serving to keep us all as safe as they can, please know that you have the thanks of Connie Green (that's my regular name) for yourself and them. I also pray that God will keep you all safe and well as you serve and after you have retired from the service whether you were a Member of the Military or a First Responder.
For those of you like me who have had family member's or friends who served and passed on, I KNOW that they have a place of honor in whatever they consider heaven to be because they were willing to stand up to keep us all safe. I also know that you will one day see them again in that place of honor.
Thank you for your time in reading this message and I hope the prayer below gives you and your Veteran's family members and friends comfort as you read it. I know it did for me.

Bless the families of our veterans for the sacrifices made on the home front when duty called their loved ones away to serve.
Following their military service, give each of our veterans meaningful employment where they can enrich our workplaces and communities with their strong leadership skills, their self discipline and their hearts for service.
We pray that you will provide your care and healing power for our veterans who carry physical and mental wounds from their days of service.? And we lift up to your care those families who have lost a member of our armed forces in the line of duty.? May your constant presence and help be theirs.

Actually, some of us celebrate Mr Fawkes brave attempt at installing central heating under the ministers, and getting them to do something other than polish the seats with their rumps.
A few of us celebrate in order to remember to keep our powder dry.
Others, on the other hand (Hythe is one of such place), burn political figures
in effigy (Effigy being a small town in Staffordshire), while others burn a figure of a past Pope - who usually bears a striking resemblance to whichever political figure has upset the townspeople that year.
For my part, I only pay attention in order to see who is fool enough to spend far too much dosh on burning explosives that should be spent on real needs ... ... or given to me to use since they don't want it.
