Gripping, riveting, amusing - and that was just the disclaimer.
So I ask myself, SELF... Why would Dumbledore want to keep the DE
Jrs in the school??? Potter has surely pointed them out. Snape
knows who they are. This is surprising to me, especially in light
that there have been two attempted murders. I never really
considered who planted the spider before. At this point, I don't
think it was Ron or Dumbledore, rather a student placing one of the
Gryffindors under imperius. Yet there was no on screen scene with
Dumbledore contemplating who did it.
Good question! Why did Dumbledork keep them in the school in canon?
The actions of the Inquisitional squad of book five should have been
grounds for expulsion in my book, but Rowlings kept those turkeys
around. Or you can go for the old saying of "An enemy I know is
better than one I don't know."
The Spider was definitely placed by a student. But I'm not saying
which one. :)
The second question that I'm asking myself is, as of chapter 15,
who
is on Dumbledore's side? The ministry seems to be distancing
themselves from him, as do the interesting professors.
Which side? Well if you go back to our little head to head with the
British Prime Minister you'll find out exactly which side he's on.
(Chapter 14 I believe).
The last question that I have is, using the analogy of the pretty
girl going back to the cabin in the slasher movies(where everyone
knows the killer is lurking), why would Harry and friends stay in
school? They obviously have better things to do, and could just
stage an argument or something to get expelled if they didn't want
people to really know what they were up to.
Heh... its all slight of hand. Things are going to ease up a bit for
the students in Hogwarts while they worsen elsewhere. Remember what
Harry is trying to do and you'll know why he's sticking around.
Two final comments – You two are the best. Finally thanks for
busting Filch's arse. It's about time that that creepy perv met
his
maker. Hopefully each of the students will pour a bottle of the
finest butterbeer on his grave, after they have first filtered it
through their kidneys.
You know, I don't recall another story where Filch bit the dust. He's
a character people universally hate, but don't want to kill off for
some reason.
Keep up the good writing OC. We're both still reading your fic :)
