The Cruciatus spell can be used for good. Some have suggested it was
originally a medical spell to wake patients up from comas.
yeah right, and enervate then? the crucio can be used, of course, but
it is a spell that deliberatly cause pain. Wouldn't it be simpler to
create a spell with the same result but without the pain?
Also, wouldn't casting it repeatedly on someone build up a resistance
to pain?
Same thing, one could improve their resistence in pain by using other
spell and potion that numb the nerves...
