I do know that TtH has a dedicated page for challenges but is heavily focused on BtVS and crossovers with it.
I'm not sure about FFN but take a look at the communities as I know at least a couple of challenges have their own communities.
For other sites/fandoms, I have no idea.

What I can remember is Harry seems to be planning to move to parallel dimension or another universe, somewhere not his earth.
He has a whole load of house elves with him that have been getting ready with everything you could ever need for a new world.
I think they had a plot of land they may have been transporting with, but that might be another fic combining in my head.
Its not a Wolfwalker story as I love his fics and have read them multiple times.??
