It sounds familiar, but I don't know, sorry.? I have one of my own:
Harry is tracked (via blood?) and to keep from being caught he has to jog around the block or ride around with the Grangers while Hermione destroys the blood-binding, and it's something to do with melting a plate in their back yard or something?
I feel like it's Robst or a similar author?
