I don't know if it is what you are looking for, but Burnable wrote a
story called Post-Apocylyptic Potter in something or other, which
was actually a crossover with the MCU that had that happening. Then
he wrote a crossover with SGU, then he crossed the two crossovers
together.

I don't remember much, except that Harry was swooping in and
grabbing people moments before their deaths to build up his own
forces without revealing himself.
Any tips - and recommendations on any good scifi crossovers - are
