I'm not sure what sort of information you're looking for. What is it you've been researching?
Bob and I were always open to folks using our ideas. The only thing we've ever asked is for credit to be given for those ideas.
If someone reads one of our stories/series and suddenly gets an idea to continue the plot, go ahead. Again, just include a shout out for the original story/idea. This isn't to pat us on the back, but to save you the hassle of reviewers accusing you of using ideas from a story that isn't yours.
While I love hearing that folks are writing a story based on one of our ideas, please don't ask me to read it. It's not that I don't think you'll do an excellent job, but because I haven't been able to read Harry Potter stories since Bob died. We wrote/read stories in that world for 11 years. It's a reminder that he's not here anymore.
That doesn't mean I've stopped writing. I just don't write anything to do with Potter.
