My condolences.
After losing my wife of 14 ? years earlier this year to a sudden heart attack, I can only say that if you need to talk, I am available..
losing her the way you did, both gradually and suddenly is awful, and the only thing I can think to say about that is that she’s no longer in pain, no longer feeling her life slipping away ..?
if you ascribe to the belief that there is an afterlife, cherish the thought that she is waiting for you, amongst those who have already crossed to the other side.
the pain doesn’t ever really disappear, and there will be days where you’ll just spend hours crying .. so, revisit the good and happy memories that you made together over your time together..
