I understand that HBP upset people and limit action I have not had full time to read it yet and am actually having difficulty getting into but my question is...fanfiction is taking a part of a story or aspect of it and taking to the extent of your imagination so why is it that people feel certain groups of fanfiction or dying.? Not just HP but others as well.? I mean look at what Bob and Alyx have done with the HP story line...took some aspect of the story and then ran wild with there own ideas.? So why does fanfiction of certain group must die...I admit what I heard from HBP is not promising but guess what I get my HP/HG fix in fanfiction so I'm good.? Is it that people confuse the book which is canon as being the end all and be all and forget that when your reading a fanfiction is an alternate reality story from the second it changes from the book.? Is hard to seperate the two?
