I'm going to throw in a few comments here concerning depth vs story
line. :)

harry potter and the emerald tablet by lady alchimia:
Alyx loved the Emerald Tablet. I was bored. Its a huge story which
spends forever on a birthday party and barely moves beyond the summer
between 5th and 6th years. The depth of characterization is wonderful,
but this story does it at the expense of the plotline.
Lady Alchimia is a wonderful author. But don't look for the Emerald
Tablet to resolve anything.
and harry potter and the years of rebellion:
those two are ones of the best fanfiction there is, with a depth to
characters almost never shown.. good reading.
Is this one complete yet? It sounds familiar.
