Happy New Year! Be safe, Don¡¯t be stupid, I hope you find amazing artifacts & knowledge
Happy New Year all! I hope for the best for all of you in 2025. For the first time since the last millennia I can not predict comfortably where we might be 1 year from now. Something I always prided myself on. Maybe that is the fate of all artifacts? But now there are potentially unprecedented threats by unregulated agencies against the laws (in the US) that govern much of what allows our profession to work for the betterment of the future. For probably 80% of you I have always existed. Yeah, its weird to me too and your professors/boss are old as fuck if they remember a time before. But then again, we have probably drank together. So you have always known I do everything I can to fight for you, better wages, better accommodations, etc¡. I want you to know I will continue to do my best, anything I am able, to preserve the potential of your career and our profession. I do hope in 2026 I have a more positive message for you. But for now, we must persevere my friend. So Happy New Year. Just know, it won¡¯t be easy. Best, R. Joe
