Temporary Archaeological Technicians

The Archaeological and Historical Conservancy has immediate openings for part-time project-based positions for archaeological technicians for phase III projects in Miami, Florida and other parts of Florida. ?Work tasks include excavations, documentation, and collections.? Applicants must be able to work in hot and humid conditions.

Starting salary wage ranges from $19-$22 per hour, commensurate with education and experience.? Lodging for non-local employees is single room occupancy and per diem at a rate of $50 per working day.

Qualifications Required

·?????? Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, or Environmental Sciences.

·?????? Completion of an? accredited field school or six months of field experience.
