Salary: $90,000 - $125,000 DOE + full benefits package

About the Role:
We¡¯re seeking a dynamic Cultural Resources Program Manager to lead SummitWest¡¯s Cultural Resources Program. This senior role will drive program growth, oversee projects, and ensure regulatory compliance, while mentoring staff and building strong client partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the Cultural Resources Program
- Oversee CR project execution, budgets, and timelines
- Lead fieldwork including surveys, excavations, and construction monitoring
- Develop mitigation measures and consult with agencies, tribes, and stakeholders
- Manage technical report writing (CEQA/NEPA environmental sections, monitoring reports, etc.)
- Interface with clients, tribes, regulatory agencies, and contractors
- Ensure project compliance with CEQA, NEPA, NHPA Section 106, and other regulations
- Collaborate with recruitment on staffing needs and program capacity
- Lead QA/QC of data and technical deliverables
- Mentor staff and foster interdisciplinary collaboration
- Partner with leadership on proposals and client development
Qualifications:
- Master¡¯s or PhD in Anthropology, Archaeology, or related field
- Meets Secretary of the Interior¡¯s Professional Qualification Standards
- Minimum 10 years CRM experience with 5+ years in program management
- Extensive experience managing complex projects and teams
- Proficient in CEQA, NEPA, Section 106, and related environmental regulations
- Registered Professional Archaeologist (RPA) preferred
- Experience with tribal consultation preferred
- Based in California, valid driver¡¯s license required
- Ability to travel to project sites and corporate office as needed
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
