(SRI), a cultural resource management firm, has a position available for a Project Director (PD) for ongoing and upcoming fieldwork projects in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. Position Overview: The Project Director position is responsible for planning and implementing survey, testing, monitoring, and data recovery plans, coordinating through the appropriate channels – all tasks associate with fieldwork analysis, and reporting, including supervision of field teams ensuring completion of assigned project tasks. The responsibilities of the PD typically involve traveling and work in both the field and office. The PD is responsible for report writing and having a solid understanding of the basics of cultural resource manager. For small- and medium-sized projects, the PD may assume additional tasks typically assigned to a Principal Investigator (PI), although you will work under the mentorships of the PI for that project. For larger projects, the PD will work in tandem with experienced project directors and/or the PI to ensure that all the tasks associated with the project implementation are accomplished. We will provide the training you will need to meet our deadlines, remain on budget, and meet the SRI’s standard of care. Required Qualifications and Experience:
