WestLand is adding a full-time
Project Manager?to our growing Cultural Resources team in Utah. Candidates for this position will oversee the completion of projects across the west, mentor cultural resources team members, support business development and client relations for current
and new clients, and support departmental quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) needs. The successful candidate for this position will be attached to WestLand’s
Salt Lake City office but may be remotely located.

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $104,000.00 annually.
?
What will I be doing?
Overseeing projects and ensuring all work meets professional standards.
Writing and reviewing technical reports and reporting deliverables.
Managing project budgets, teams, schedules.
Developing proposals and identifying necessary resources for successful project completion.
Coordinating communication and deliverables between WestLand, agencies, clients, and/or Tribal representatives.
Supporting and developing departmental QA/QC initiatives.
Building relationships with current and future clients and teaming partners.
Participating in marketing efforts.
Leading and mentoring cultural resources professionals.
Occasional travel and/or fieldwork may be required.

What qualifications are required for this role?
A graduate degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or related field. An undergraduate degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or related
field AND additional years of experience may substitute for a graduate degree.
Past supervisory experience is preferred. Supervisory experience may be in the field or office setting.
Strong project management skills, including a strong attention to detail, responsiveness, and the ability to
manage multiple projects and balance priorities.
Previous professional and/or academic experience working in the Great Basin, Colorado Plateau,
and Rocky Mountain culture areas.
Familiarity with local, state, and federal cultural resources regulations, (e.g., the National Historic Preservation Act, National
Environmental Policy Act, Section 9-8a-404 of the Utah Code, county ordinances, etc.).
Professional experience writing and reviewing technical archaeological reports.
