Two (2) vacancies are available with CEMML at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH).? The Cultural Resources Specialist and Architectural Historian will function as part of a team that supports Commander, Navy
Region Hawaii¡¯s (CNRH) cultural resources management and compliance tasks.
The Cultural Resources Specialist and Architectural Historian will provide technical support, review past projects and synthesize findings, coordinate with project proponents and managers, and interface with the
Hawaii State Historic Preservation Division. Primary duties include assisting Navy Region Hawaii with the following: perform background and archival research; analyze past and present undertakings; review and/or prepare reports; and assist in the development
and fulfillment of Agreement documents and treatment plans.
Must be able to communicate and interact with internal/external staff, Navy officials, seamen, airmen, and the public in a professional manner. Work requires a high degree of independent judgment/decision making,
technical writing and organizational skills, attention to detail, and people skills.
