Position Summary: The Principal Investigator/Project Manager serves a dual role with responsibility for the design and oversight of field research and directing the business aspects of cultural resource management projects. The ideal candidate will work out of our Tucson or Phoenix offices although remote and hybrid work may be considered. ? Essential Functions and General Responsibilities: ¡¤?????? Manages budgets, prepares proposals, reports and other technical documents. ¡¤?????? Administers project timelines and budgets. ¡¤?????? Markets to existing and new clients by developing marketing proposals, attending marketing functions and maintaining client relationships. ¡¤?????? Responding to requests for job proposals and price quotes. ¡¤?????? Interfaces with government agencies regarding project regulatory compliance. ¡¤?????? Prepares scopes of work and budgets. ¡¤?????? Coordinates with clients and staff to ensure that project goals are met. ¡¤?????? Plans, directs and coordinates work activities and schedules. ¡¤?????? Writing research designs and overseeing research aspects of excavations and large-scale survey projects. ¡¤?????? Directs large excavation projects. ¡¤?????? Performs other related responsibilities as needed. ? Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: ¡¤?????? Knowledge of National Environmental Policy Act, Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act, Section 106, Section 110, and associated federal and state laws and regulations. ¡¤??????? Experience working with various municipal, county, state, and federal agencies, tribes, and State and Tribal Historic Preservation Officers. ¡¤??????? Knowledge of utilizing MS Word, Excel, and Outlook applications. ? Minimum Qualifications: ¡¤?????? ²Ñ²¹²õ³Ù±ð°ù¡¯²õ degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, Heritage Management, or related field ¡¤??????? Five (5) ²â±ð²¹°ù²õ¡¯ experience in cultural, heritage, and/or environmental compliance industry ¡¤??????? Permitted/permittable in the State assigned (General Archaeological Investigation Permit), State Bureau of Land Management, and the Forest Service ¡¤??????? Valid ¶Ù°ù¾±±¹±ð°ù¡¯²õ License ¡¤???????
