¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHawai¡®i (O¡®ahu Office)¡ªMultiple Permanent/Full-Time Archaeological Technician and Archaeologist Positions Cultural Surveys Hawai¡®i, Inc. (CSH) seeks to hire multiple full-time, permanent archaeological staff for its O¡®ahu office, to grow and advance with the company. CSH has 40 years¡¯ experience providing quality cultural resource management (CRM) services throughout the Hawaiian Islands (please refer to for more information). Position Description The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented and motivated ¡°jack of all trades,¡± adept at collecting and reporting data to support archaeological studies. Under the direction of a Project Director or Lead, duties may include:
You should be adaptable, safety-conscious, and willing to work around heavy machinery on busy construction sites. You will be expected to provide detailed digital and paper records of your work including field forms, hand-drawn profile and plan maps, photographs, and field condition updates in a timely manner. Requirements Must be eligible to work in the U.S. An undergraduate degree in Anthropology/Archaeology or a related field (e.g., Cultural Resource Management, Hawaiian Studies, History, Historic Preservation, Geology, Geography, Soil Science) is required. Demonstrated experience working in CRM archaeology and completion of an archaeological field school is preferred. Applicants with graduate degrees and/or prior archaeological work experience in Hawai¡®i and/or other Pacific Islands are also preferred. You must have a valid driver¡¯s license and will need your own transportation to get to various job sites. You are expected to have personal dig kits and survey gear. Compensation and Benefits The starting compensation range for these positions is $23¨C$30/hour, commensurate with experience, skills, and education. Pay packages include medical and dental insurance, a 401(k) program, and a paid time off program.
