Vita May was originally surrendered to Savannah Cat Rescue due to the owner moving and they were unable to take Vita with them. We were told Vita occasionally urinates outside of the box. The new home found that she was urinating outside the box quite often. We had Vita May thoroughly health checked (no UTI, had her declawed paws X-rayed) and the vet feels it is behavioral. Vita has improved; 2 accidents in 3 weeks, however, the new family thinks a quieter home may be better.
We are looking for someone to foster Vita May until we can ensure that we have her medication correct and to help SVR determine her ideal home. We currently feel she would do best with 1 dog. Children over 10 would be ok. She bonds strongly with the main provider. Requirements: A room to quarantine Vita May, ability to give a cat medication is required and within driving distance!
