Rios is an F2 from Savannah Pride (Victoria Johnsonbaugh), who will not be taking responsibility for her cat. The breeder insists that the owner pay for transport and the owner is surrendering due to financial woes. Hence Savannah Rescue must find Rios a home.
Rios is a nearly 7 years old neutered F2 Savannah, he had an anal prolapse as a kitten that surgery repaired and regular miralax has kept his poops regular. Unfortunately, it has seemed to have given him an aversion to pooping in the litterbox. He faithfully urinates in the litterbox, but usually poops beside it (has also been known to use rugs nearby).
The owner describes Rios as very much her cat and a cat that has always been nervous and easily stressed. She does not think he would be good in a house with children or dogs. She says that he has lived with other cats but has played too rough for them and so he ended up being a bully with them. She does think a similar energied cat or two might work though. The home does need to be quiet she feels, to reduce his anxiety and stress levels.
