BONDED PAIR AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION IN FLORIDA
BONDED PAIR AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION IN FLORIDA ? Flynn and Cleo are a bonded pair of Savannah Cats available for adoption. They are both up to date on vaccines and micro chipped. They are currently located on the Treasure Coast in Florida. They cannot be shipped but their foster is willing to drive throughout the state to meet up with the right home for them. Their adoption fee is $300 for the pair. Cleo is an 8 year old, F5, spayed female. She is sweet loving and talkative. She is easily handled and enjoys being scratched behind the ears. She loves to play with wand toys, catnip mice and in cat tunnels. She finds the sound of a cat food can being opened very exciting and will yell at you until she is served her plate. This has earned her the nickname “Cleocatra” in her foster home.? She has perfect litter box habits although she does kick litter out of even the high sided Sterilite/Rubbermaid boxes and will need a good sized mat under the box to keep litter from being spread all over. Flynn is a 4 year old F3 neutered male. Flynn was bred by AAA Savannahs (Paul Beeson) due to the conditions he was born into he was not properly socialized as a young kitten. Foster has been working with him for months now and he has improved with people and meeting new people but remains fearful and even when interacting with you, will remain out of arms reach. If he feels you are too close, he panics and runs. In his panic, he may scratch and if cornered becomes defensive and will scratch. He is not an aggressive cat at all. He won’t attack unprovoked, he just panics when afraid. He loves to play with wand toys. He will sit and listen attentively to you talk to him for long periods of time as long as you don’t get too close. He chases catnip mice when you throw them and has the cutest Early Generation chirpy meow. The only individual he trusts completely is Cleo, which is why they must be placed together. He also has perfect litter box habits. He will need a home that has experience with poorly socialized cats, is familiar with working with them and is prepared to accept him even if he never comes around to being a cuddler. Due to Flynn’s anxiety issues we are only considering homes with older, cat savvy children 12+. They do well with other laidback cats but are not at all impressed by the overactive, super playful ‘in your face’ type of cats. We don’t know if they have ever been exposed to dogs but do believe that cat friendly dogs with calm personalities would be readily accepted (read: completely ignored) by them. ? If you believe that your home is the right forever home for these two beautiful Savannah Cats please send us an email to info@... telling us about the home you’re offering and the family, including all other pets, that they would be joining.?
