Nick desperately needs a home that is willing to work with his special needs, preferably one that can travel to Oregon to pick him up.
He's a friendly kitty but he is almost totally blind, I believe he can see shadows. So he needs a home that is willing to work with that disability by making things simple for him (in terms of home layout, maybe bells on collars of other pets, he can find the litterbox but sometimes doesn't exactly get all IN the box).
Nick wants to play with other animals, he's lived successfully with dogs, but some cats find him a little rough so either he needs a home with no other cats or the other cats need to be able to hold their own.
Nick tends to gulp his food, and needs someone to work on that issue. I'm not sure if that is because when living with dogs he had to eat fast or why he's developed the tendency but this is something that is often easily resolved with a specific type of feeding dish or smaller more frequent meals.
As you can see from the pics, Nick does very well with children.
