F5 4 year old Female, Los Angeles, CA
Ms Cleo is a super affectionate, friendly F5 Savannah female (Spayed) who has a great personality and truly loves being around people. She has not had much experience around children but she has been friendly with family friends, and as well as strangers. She has no bad habits, and is fully litter box trained. She gets along well with most other cats but not all. Ms Cleo truly loves being around people and needs a home where someone is home much of the time. I attached a couple of pictures. I am asking for a re-homing fee of $150 in the form of a donation to Savannah Rescue, and if the right home for Ms. Cleo is in another state, I would be willing to ship. If you are interested, please let me know.

Cat Available for Adoption
Hi There, I am writing regarding my seven year old f5 savannah female cat named Silvy. My boyfriend and I got her almost 3 years ago when she had just turned five, from a large family with a lot of animals. She was intended to be for a little girl but it wasn't working out. Over the past three years, we have spent a lot of time working with Silvy to bring her out of her shell. It is clear that she has experienced a traumatic event in her life, and we think she may have PTSD, or anxiety. Last year, we got another cat so she wouldn't be alone all day. Though it took a while, they have become buddies and she doesn't have any problems with him. However, since then, she has become territorial and every few weeks will pee only on my things, not my boyfriends. We think maybe she is jealous, and needs to be the only woman in the house... She is such a doll, and once she bonds, she can be so loving and sweet. She has beautiful coloring and heterochromatic eyes - one blue one green. However, she is afraid of her own shadow, and the behavioral peeing has become a big issue in the house. We currently have to move out of our building, and will be living in a house with many more people and too much going on. She does not do well with travel at all, and this move is not long term, so we are concerned about taking her with us only to move again. We will be living with someone who is extremely allergic to cats as well, and it is currently our only option. She needs a forever home, maybe with one other cat, and maybe an older couple that will just love her and let her learn to trust them. She has lived with an australian shepherd and didn't have any problems either. We would love a home that can keep us updated on how she is doing. Her adoption fee is $200 to ensure she goes to a good home, this money will in turn be donated to the savannah cat rescue. No shipping, the stress of it would be far too traumatizing for her. It takes her several weeks to recover from a short drive move as it is. We are in San Diego and would be willing to meet up within reason. We are moving at the end of July and would prefer not to move her too many times so she doesn't get too stressed out, however we are not in a rush and will keep her as long as we need to to make sure she ends up in the right hands. Thank you for your consideration. Please feel free to contact me for more pictures or with any questions. Hayley ??

TWO F6 Neutered Male Savannahs, Albuquerque, NM
Meet Loki and Nyx, they are litter mates born in June of 2013. They are well adapted to being inside or outside on a leash, they get along with other cats and dogs. These boys are very loving and playful, Nyx (smaller of the two) loves to cuddle, play fetch and antagonize his brother. Loki is a bit reserved but finds the time a couple times a day for quality human interaction. Loki loves to play when he thinks nobody is watching. The boys are pure joy and have no health issues, they will bring you years of love, companionship and happiness. I am simply asking for a $300 donation to Savannah Cat Rescue, plus transportation. I may be able assist with delivery within NM or AZ. Gary 505-889-9510

"I JUST WANT TO LOVE YOU"
is Kovu and I live on the Gulf Coast of Florida in Sarasota. I am an F3A Savannah. I will be 3 years old in May and weigh between 15-16 lbs. My mommy loves me very much, but unfortunately, I do not love, or even like, my younger brother and sister Savannahs, so I must find another home without any other cats. I think they cause me stress. I do love my little dog Tubby and love all humans that are 8 years of age and older. I really have not been around young children so hard to tell you if I like them but I love everyone that visits us and I greet them at the door. I like to help with jobs around the house like the laundry. I don't mind being carried, but not held that long! I have perfect litter box habits and eat Orijen kibble along with a homemade raw recipe. I must eat a very low carb diet as my mommy found my tummy was very sensitive to carbs when i was a kitten.I love to give kisses, head butts and cuddle. I also love to play cat games on mommy's tablet. I am a very silly boy, full of Savannah antics that make everyone laugh. I will also tell you all that is going on ! My mommy is asking for $300 so she may find the perfect human for me to own. I will not go on an airplane and I want to stay in Florida. My mommy will include some of my favorite toys,a bag of Orijen and Healthy Paws health insurance through June . The deductible has been met for the year and 90% of vet costs besides exams and vaccinations would be covered. I want someone to love for the rest of my life. Purrty please? F2 Female available - Central New Jersey
Ziah is a beautiful three year old spayed female located in central NJ. I am offering her up for adoption because I do not have the time to invest in her. She has a very skittish nature and I believe she would do better in a home with less activity and with someone who can be home more with her While she is attached to me and enjoys playing and cuddling, she has very little tolerance for the rest of my family - especially the men. She enjoys going on walks in the yard on her leash with me but does not like to be around other people. She has a history of urinating outside the litter box for which I spent a great deal of time working with a behaviorist to resolve. I believe it was primarily associated with territorial behavior from feral cats she could see from windows. We live in a rural area and it is difficult to control these cats from wandering in our yard. Ultimately, this behavior has been eliminated by maintaining her on a low dose of prozac daily, I get it in liquid form and put into her food. This has also helped with her general overall nervousness. While it has been controlled I believe she may revert if she is highly stressed. she has had a occasional "accident" and I can usually attribute it to a particular event - spotting a strange cat in the yard, or being away on a business trip for an extended period. I believe she will do best in a home with a single female who can spend a lot of time with her. She will probably be ok with an older couple in a quiet household. I wouldn't recommend other cats because of the territorial issues and the litterbox. She may be ok with a dog - she has been exposed to them. My problem is that I am away often in the summer and if she does not get her medication she will revert to going outside the box - at least in our home environment. She can be very finicky about her food so if she decides for whatever reason she doesnt want to eat it you need to find another way to get her medicine in her. Although I had her from the time she was a kitten, it still took a very long time for her to bond to me. She will jump on my lap and cuddle when she wants too, but like a typical f2 she does not like to be held long or contained. She is not declawed and is very good about using her scratching posts. I am able to clip her nails (with assistance). Because of her sensitive nature, you will need to be very patient and give her a lot if time to acclimate. I also would like to be kept informed about her transition and if it doesnt work out I will take her back. I am offering her for $500 and will not ship her.

ADOPTED: Kody - high percentage F4 male - San Francisco, CA
Thanks for the great offers, Kody is in his new home and very happy now! ---In savannahcatsavailable@..., <brigitte@...> wrote : Kody is a very handsome, funny (almost)6 year old neutered Savannah male in San Francisco, CA. He left here as a kitten and lived with one older cat and a dog. The cat passed so Kody has spent most of his life just with the dog whom he adored. Kody as an adult is not willing to accept other cats. Kody had an unusual but not unheard of reaction to a new baby screaming, some cats interpret that pitch of screaming as a wounded animal and he leapt to protect the baby. For that reason, we cannot home Kody into a home with babies, toddlers or people that may intend having children...we do not know if this might repeat and would prefer not to test that. He has NOT shown one aggressive move towards the owner since that episode. In fact, they kept him that long as they didn't want to give him up. If you met him you couldn't believe he would do that...he's ridiculously sweet. I think children over 8 years of age would be great, he is very playful so a cat-savvy child with a wand toy would be his idea of fun. Kody needs an only cat home, I could anticipate he would accept a kitten in future but he is not at all used to other cats. He is friendly to dogs. F2 & F3 adults available N. VA
The adult savannahs below are located in the Northern VA area. Their owner has decided she does not have room or time for them, and would like to find them good homes. They are all spayed/neutered and up to date on shots. If you think you have the right home environment for any of these cats, please send an email to the owner at drleighriley@... and tell her about yourself, where you live, and the type of home/environment you would provide. You must have a large enough home for these active cats to have a space of their own to minimize stress; an apartment is not suitable. It is important they are placed into a PERMANENT loving home. There is no adoption fee. You must be close enough to Northern VA to pick them up by car. Hunter (male) and Xena (female) are adult F3 siblings born in October 2011, so they are about 4 yrs old. Hunter is about 20-25 lbs, and Xena is about 10-11 lbs. Hunter is a gorgeous snow spotted cat (lynxpoint), well-muscled, long, and lanky. Xena is also a snow, but darker. They are very loving and like to be petted and held. They get along with just about everyone and will bond to the right owner after a short amount of time. They must be adopted together. They are great with the litter box, and have no health issues. They primarily eat canned cat food (Xena likes kibble for snacks), about 4 cans per day (3 for Hunter, 1 for Xena). They would do fine in a home with other cats, as long as they are gentle-natured, and after a 2 week period alone to acclimate, and then a very gradual introduction. Hunter and Xena are in the pics below. Belle (photo below) is an adult F2 girl born in Sept. 2010, so she is about 5 yrs old. She is about 10-11 lbs. Belle is a gorgeous silver cat (white with black markings). She is not slight in build, but still has a long-legged elegant figure. Belle is very skittish, and easily upset. She will very rarely allow herself to be petted, BUT she may bond to the right owner if they are VERY patient and give it lots of time. She is not a difficult cat (unless you have to get her in a carrier or try to hold her), but fair warning that she will be very hissy for the first couple weeks in a new home and toward new owners. She is great with the litter box, and has no health issues. She primarily eats canned cat food, with a little kibble for snacks. Ideally she would do best in a home without other cats or dogs, however she will get along with 1-2 other gentle-natured cats after a 2 week period alone to acclimate, and then a very gradual introduction. Belle needs an adult only home (no children) because her personality is very skittish, and it would be easier for her to adapt to a quiet household. A new owner will need to understand and consider Belle’s special needs carefully before adopting; it is very traumatic for sensitive cats like Belle to be rehomed, it is important she is placed into a PERMANENT loving home that will not give up on her or traumatize her further. Tang (photo below) is an adult F2 male born in August, 2011, so he is about 4 yrs old. He is about 20-25 lbs. Tang is a gorgeous orange cat, well-muscled, long, and lanky. He is not skittish but does not like to be held. He will ask for attention and pets when he is ready. He will bond to the right owner if they are VERY patient and give it a bit of time. He is not a difficult cat (unless you have to get him in a carrier or try to hold him), but fair warning – he will be very hissy for the first couple weeks in a new home and toward new owners. F6 SBT Female - New Jersey
I have a 7 month old spayed F6 SBT female kitten that I am looking to re-home. She is very friendly, used to dogs and other cats. She loves to snuggle and is docile when being played w/ by younger children. Because of her age she should fit well into another household. We have an older cat that she bullies for food. She is not aggressive, does not bite, scratch or hiss at him however, she will push him to the side at feeding time and eat all of the food. We do not want to continue to separate them or have her isolated to another part of the house by herself. Our other cat is not doing well because of this and it is easier to find her a new home since she is still young. Asking for a re-homing fee of $400. She does come w/ her own litter box and some of her current food. No shipping.

Sweet SBT Savannah who needs a new home - SE Minnesota
I have a very sweet 3 year old Savannah who needs a new home. She is microchipped, declawed ( front ), and spayed. She is an SBT Savannah. She has a very sweet temperament and is gentle with my older Grandchildren . We have four cats. She gets along very well with them all. She was born in my home and raised here. The reason for the need to re home her is the fact that our make Bengal, who is neutered , has decided to take charge of the litter boxes and has therefore kicked her out. She has gone to the bathroom in a couple areas that she shouldn’t have because of this. At this point, the only remedy we have is to keep her in a room by herself with her own litter box. I feel that this isn’t fair to her as she is very social, and loves to sleep with me. I am asking $400 for her. She would work best in and enviornment that is familiar with the breed. Older gentle children preferred. She would do well with another kitten if properly introduced. This has been a very difficult decision for us. We love her very much. We determined that it would be much easier to re-home her rather than our Bengal. My location is SouthEastern Minnesota. I have 2 Savannah’s , one Bengal, and one Domestic cat. It’s my experience that the exotic cats make much better pets than the regular domestic cat. They play with my Grandchildren and are highly intelligent and loving. I do not agree with the comments referring them as bad pets. Perhaps the lower generation Savannahs. As I know that F1, and F2 Savannahs are one person cats. They require a diet of raw chicken. Unless properly introduced into the household as kittens , it is very difficult for them to adapt to that environment. People need to do their research before purchasing the lower generation cats. Savannah and Bengals can be amazing members of the family.

Female Savannah (F4 or F5) Looking for home in Alameda, CA
2
Meet Rocket! Alameda, CA She was rescued from from a backyard breeder in northern california who neglected her and we are guessing she spent most of her time in cage without much positive human interaction. We are not positive on the generation of savannah she is but we are estimating F4 or F5 (she has many Savannah like behaviors). I'm fostering her and have two other savannah cats myself, my goal was to keep her but unfortunately my other female cat attacks her very violently. Rocket has a very shy personality and is not a uber affectionate lap cat. Once she gets to know you she is very sweet in her own way. She is very athletic and can jump high . she also loves having a assortment of toys to call her own as she will carry them around in her mouth and build a nest with them. She will need a quiet indoor only home without small children or dogs and Preferably without other female cats. we are hoping to find someone local to adopt her. She is spayed, Vaccinated, tested Neg for FIV/FELV, current on flea Meds and Microchipped She does great using the litter box and is NOT de-clawed (we are looking for someone that will commit to no de clawing) . We are asking for a $100 donation to the rescue I work with called feral cat foundation. If you are interested in adopting her please send me a message (blackpanther201@...) with information about yourself ,household and anything else you think is important

F6sbt 8 month old Savannah kitten needs a new forever home ASAP
Gorgeous f6sbt female Savannah kitten needs a new forever home ASAP! WHY: We have made the difficult decision to find our 8 month old Savannah cat, Esme, a new home and a fresh start. Over the last couple of months she has begun to bully our domestic female cats, and it is clear that she wants and needs to be the only female cat in the house. We have tried reintroduction, but nothing is helping, and the bullying is getting progressively worse because our domestic cats are very easygoing and won't stand up to her. We are tired of closed doors and separating cats, and it is just time for Ezzie to find the perfect new home. ABOUT: She is 8 months old (DOB 1-22-15), spayed, UTD on shots, microchipped, and in perfect health. She has perfect litter box habits and has her claws (please do not contact me if you believe in declawing-- it has been proven inhumane and can cause a perfectly healthy cat to develop behavior and litter box problems). She needs to be the only female cat in the house, but seems to get along just fine with our male cats. Ezzie is very sweet, a bit sassy, and loves to play and be petted. She LOVES feather wands and sisal scratching posts. She will need a quiet room to adjust in her new home equipped with litter box, food, water, toys, etc-- she is very friendly but will probably want to hide for the fist couple of days until she feels more comfortable. Her new owner(s) need to be willing to put in the time to form a bond with her. The more time you spend with her, the quicker she will warm up to you. She is an easy cat in that she is very independent, but this also means that it is harder to win her over. She has perfect Savannah type and long legs, but she is a petite little lady and will probably stay relatively small. WHAT WE WANT IN A HOME: 1-2 males cats with slow and proper introduction, but NO female cats: she needs to be Queen. 1-2 dogs would be okay as long as they have had experience around cats and know how to behave properly. She probably would do fine as an only cat as long as you had lots of time and attention to give to her. Children 10+ only please. Experience and knowledge of hybrid cats is preferred. We are asking $500 for her, and if we can find the perfect home for her, we will also include a bag of the food she is eating, her favorite treats, as well as her favorite scratching post and toys. We want her to be as comfortable as possible in her new home. Located in Massillon, OH (about an hour south of Cleveland). IF INTERESTED: Please contact me directly at jessyes008@... with a DETAILED description of your home and pets and why you think you would be a good fit for this pretty little girl. Feel free to provide any pictures of your home/pets-- we want to make sure that Ezzie is going to a good home and will be well taken care of. We need to place her ASAP so please only contact me if you are able to take her very soon. No shipping.
