The adult savannahs below are located in the Northern VA area. ?Their owner has decided she does not have room or time for them, and would like to find them good homes. ?They are all spayed/neutered and up to date on shots. If you think you have the right home environment for any of these cats,?please send an email to the owner at?drleighriley@...?and tell her about yourself, where you live, and the type of home/environment you would provide. ?You must have a large enough home for these active cats to have a space of their own to minimize stress; an apartment is not suitable.? It is important they are placed into a PERMANENT loving home.? There is no adoption fee. ?You must be close enough to Northern VA to pick them up by car.

Hunter (male) and Xena?(female)?are adult F3 siblings born in October 2011, so they are about 4 yrs old.? Hunter is about 20-25 lbs, and Xena is about 10-11 lbs. ?Hunter is a gorgeous snow spotted cat (lynxpoint), well-muscled, long, and lanky.? Xena is also a snow, but darker.? They are very loving and like to be petted and held. ?They get along with just about everyone and will bond to the right owner after a short amount of time.? They must be adopted together.?They are great with the litter box, and have no health issues.? They primarily eat canned cat food (Xena likes kibble for snacks), about 4 cans per day (3 for Hunter, 1 for Xena). They would do fine in a home with other cats, as long as they are gentle-natured, and after a 2 week period alone to acclimate, and then a very gradual introduction. Hunter and Xena are in the pics below.

Belle?(photo below)?is an adult F2 girl born in Sept. 2010, so she is about 5 yrs old. She is about 10-11 lbs. Belle is a gorgeous silver cat (white with black markings). She is not slight in build, but still has a long-legged elegant figure. Belle is very skittish, and easily upset. She will very rarely allow herself to be petted, BUT she may bond to the right owner if they are VERY patient and give it lots of time. She is not a difficult cat (unless you have to get her in a carrier or try to hold her), but fair warning that she will be very hissy for the first couple weeks in a new home and toward new owners. She is great with the litter box, and has no health issues. She primarily eats canned cat food, with a little kibble for snacks. Ideally she would do best in a home without other cats or dogs, however she will get along with 1-2 other gentle-natured cats after a 2 week period alone to acclimate, and then a very gradual introduction. Belle needs an adult only home (no children) because her personality is very skittish, and it would be easier for her to adapt to a quiet household. A new owner will need to understand and consider Belle’s special needs carefully before adopting; it is very traumatic for sensitive cats like Belle to be rehomed, it is important she is placed into a PERMANENT loving home that will not give up on her or traumatize her further.?

Tang?(photo below)?is an adult F2 male born in August, 2011, so he is about 4 yrs old.? He is about 20-25 lbs. Tang is a gorgeous orange cat, well-muscled, long, and lanky.? He is not skittish but does not like to be held.? He will ask for attention and pets when he is ready. ?He will bond to the right owner if they are VERY patient and give it a bit of time.? He is not a difficult cat (unless you have to get him in a carrier or try to hold him), but fair warning – he will be very hissy for the first couple weeks in a new home and toward new owners. ?He is great with the litter box, and has no health issues.? He primarily eats canned cat food, about 3 cans per day.? Ideally he would do best in a home without other cats or dogs, however he will get along with 1-2 other gentle-natured cats after a 2 week period alone to acclimate, and then a very gradual introduction. ?A new owner will need to understand and consider Tang’s special needs carefully before adopting; it is very traumatic for sensitive cats like Tang to be rehomed, and it is important he is placed into a PERMANENT loving home that will not give up on him or traumatize him further.
