Jobs is in San Francisco, CA and will not be shipped. He is available
for $500, if interested email me at brigitte@...

She is quirky in personality, extremely loving to humans and the
neutered male cats in our home but does not deal well with the female
cats here. We think she would do great in a home as an only pet or one
with only a male cat or two. She is fine with our beagle, but does not
have too much experience with children.

Coco was intended to be a mommy cat but made it obvious it wasn't going
to happen. When spayed she was found to lack one of two uterine horns
but also one of her kidneys. Testing has shown her remaining kidney is
more than capable and there are absolutely no health concerns.

Coco is very playful, she is unusual in that she really enjoys shadow
chasing and asks at night that I use my hand with the bedside lamp to
make shadows for her to chase around our bedroom. She is also obsessed
with laser light toys. She does not like to be picked up but tolerates
it with silly noises, and loves to give headbutts. More pictures of Coco

Coco is available for the cost of her basic spay which is $350. We do
not wish to ship her but would prefer a home within driving distance of

where it might be possible to meet.

Locked Mani - F2 in SW Michigan Still Available

Maria Newhouse

About Mani
Mani is a 3.5 year old F2 Savannah (born January 2010), who we adopted at about 9 months of age from Crystal Hills Savannah. When we adopted him, we were assured that he was a very loving boy, though it took the breeder and my husband to wrestle him (hissing and spitting) into a carrier. Once we got him home, we discovered that he is very timid (not aggressive at all unless cornered, and even then he will hiss for a long time before lashing out at all) and afraid of most people.

When we brought him home, he was diagnosed with roundworms and giardia. He was treated for both, but began having issues with the litter box after that. To date, he will not poop in a litter box. Instead, he uses the litter box to pee and poops on puppy pee pads that we keep outside of the litter box. He also occasionally poops on rugs, though we have not had that issue for a while. He has also recently begun to spray in areas of the house where he used to have litter boxes, though he has not sprayed anywhere else to? my knowledge.

With a lot of work and time, we were able to socialize him. He got to a point with us where he would allow himself to be picked up and moved without fighting, and would come to us for attention and to be pet. He is also quite the mooch with table scraps. That progress was derailed in July 2012 when he suffered a spinal injury. After numerous trips to the vet for treatment, and being quarantined to prevent re-injury and give him time to heal, he reverted to being antisocial. A second quarantine period shorty after (for fleas) cemented this behavior.

Currently, Mani does not like to be handled, though he will hang out in the same room as us. He is also not opposed to begging for table scraps. I firmly feel that with the right home he could be re-socialized again, as he is still a fairly young cat. I do not, however, feel that our home is the right place for this to happen.

Mani lives with two other cats, who he likes a lot. He has also done well with kittens in the past when we have fostered kittens (although he does not seem to be aware of how large he is). His only interactions with dogs (at the vet) have not gone well. I would recommend a house with no animals other than cats, and no small children (as he is also frightened of my one-year-old daughter). He will need time and a consistent environment to adjust, as well as patience and love.

We are asking an adoption fee of $150, and can transport locally in SW Michigan or meet someone for drop off. We are unable to go further than a couple of hours away from SW Michigan or ship at this time.

Locked Zaraki has found a home!

Zaraki has found a new home. I appreciate all the kind responses and I'm sorry I couldn't respond to every one of them personally.

Locked F3 1yo Male - Western PA

It brings me to tears to even think that I must re-home my baby, but my life situation at the moment just isn't giving Zaraki (I usually just call him 'fuzzy') the attention he deserves. He is extremely energetic and requires a home that will provide tons of time with him. A home with another energetic cat may be ideal or even a dog. A home with young children is not acceptable, as he does not like them in his face constantly. He is not declawed and I will only accept a home that is going to leave him that way. He does not damage furniture. However, I cannot stress enough that this is a very high energy cat. Please be sure you want that responsibility before you contact me.

Zaraki (pronounced za-rocky) is grey with black immediately-recognizable savannah spot pattern. I can provide pics upon request, though it's hard to get him to sit still long enough for them. He probably weighs 20 lbs at this point, he was 17 at the vet a few months ago. He is very intelligent and will open cupboards and doors wherever he can. He loves to jump up at things on the wall. He also loves plastic bottle caps and anything with feathers on it.

Zaraki is not registered, though I have the papers required to register him. I adopted him from Holly Hummel at Select Exotics in Illinois. She is aware I am looking to re-home him. He is microchipped, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations.

I am asking $500, but my goal here is to find him the most loving home that will provide him the attention he requires. I will consider any offer if you have that home. I am not going to lie, I will be extremely picky about finding him the best home. If at any time it isn't working out, I will gladly take him back. I would prefer to remain in contact with the new family to some extent.

Finally, I will NOT fly him anywhere. I have absolutely no problem driving him to you, though.

Locked MAVERICK - 2yr F3 Savannah - Adoption Complete

开云体育

To all,

I want to thank you for your interest in adopting Maverick, my 2yr male F3 Savannah. ? I wanted you all to know that i have found an excellent home for him. ?A woman, who is literally in charge of Cheetahs and Servals, at the San Diego Wild Animal Park, has taken him in as her son. ?She also has a 17lb Siamese and they are getting together wonderfully! ? It is the exact scenario I outlined in my email, regarding the home and environment i knew he needed ...... and more. ?

I also want to especially reach out to Lauren Jones, who was an amazing candidate and someone I highly recommend to any prospected adaptor. ?Had the introduction to his new current owner not occurred, via a family member, she would have made a magnificent owner. I can't say enough about how she handled this potential adoption (her sincere intentions and integrity), her background completely checked out, and she is overall was just one of those people you know would be a wonderful owner of an animal you have to let go. ?In addition, I also would like to recognize Sheri Friedman and Shannon Nodolf. ?Both of whom are also excellent candidates, for a potential adoptee. ? I say this after much much due diligence, throughout the adoption process.?

Again, thank you to Savannah Cat Rescue and all those parties who reached out. ?It is wonderful such an organization exists, in order to assist with ensuring my little man ultimately found the life-long home he deserves.?

Thank you,

JOHN WILKS IV

Locked ADOPTION: 2yr, F3, Savannah - San Diego CA

开云体育

Hello, my name is John. ?I am the owner of a beautiful 2yr old, 15-16lb, F3 Savannah, named Maverick. ?He is an amazing animal and i love him very much. ?He has certainly been loved extensively, throughout his life. ?I am an experienced animal owner, so this is a very difficult decision for me, but it is the right one. ?I also own another F3 female (1/2 his size) and a small persian cat. ?Yet, my home environment is not what's best for Maverick and am therefore putting him up for adoption. ?

Maverick has very particular personality traits.??live in a downtown high-rise condo (considered large by city standards), but he needs a larger space then is allowed for him here.??He is extremely intelligent. ? I really must emphasize that because his intelligence dictates that he requires quite a bit of interaction to be content. ?I work long hours and i live alone, so being by himself at home has been extremely difficult for him. ?I ?In terms of animal companionship, he likes dogs quite a bit, but does NOT do well with small cats. ?I actually bought/own several small cats originally to be companions for him, but unfortunately, he is aggressive with them to the point that it is unhealthy for everyone. ?I have tried every behavior modification technique you can imagine, over the last year, and it has not worked. ?The fact is, he just does not do well with small cats. ? I do believe however, he might do very well with a large F2 or F1 savannah, but I do not have direct experience to confirm that. ?I also knows he loves dogs. ?The only issue I've had, is him with small cats. ?And, I have two of them.

The bottom line is Maverick would do wonderfully in:
1) a home over 2500 square feed
2) with mid-large size dogs or?and F1 possibly F2 as companions

The unfortunate thing is that these 2 requisites are essentially the opposite of his current living conditions. ?It is just not conducive to what Maverick clearly needs to live a fulfilled life. ?And, as someone who cares for him deeply, I cannot allow that. ?I also must be responsible to the small cats that I own and ensure they are in an environment that is positive as well. ?

I paid several thousand dollars for him. ?He is fixed and current will his vaccines. ?I am asking $300 to ensure the owner has the economic resources to take care of such an animal. ?I do not want to be overbearing about it, but will also obviously want to obtain info about the prospective owner, so that I know this is the right fit. ?

***I do know, with the right fit, Maverick and his new owners will do wonderfully! ?But, I also know he is just one of those animals that it has to be "that" right home, with specific conditions.

Thank you,

JOHN WILKS IV

Locked 7 year old neutered male F3 Savannah available San Francisco

akpartel

We are looking for a new home for our beautiful F3 Savannah. Spike is 7 years old. He came straight to us from the breeder. He is an indoor cat and has been living with my husband and I (has lived in 3 different condos to date). He is up to date on all shots and had a full check up last month including a blood panel all with normal results. Spike is 12 lbs.

We are very sad to be looking for a new family for Spike. Spike has been a lot of fun for my husband and I. He is very interactive and always wants to be near people. He will play fetch and loves to play. He will also sit in your lap and fall asleep when you are sitting calmly. We recently had a child (currently 4 months old) and need to re-home Spike because he can be jumpy due to his anxiety which sometimes results in accidental injury. A recent example of Spike's jumpiness: my husband was holding him, petting Spike while Spike purred in his arms, I walked into the kitchen and set a bowl down in the sink which made a noise and spooked Spike. Spike when flying out of my husbands arms scratching him as he did so.

Through our work with two different cat behaviorists we have made significant progress with Spike, but I want to share some history to ensure we find the right family for him. Spike does have a history of aggressive behavior (eg nipping at ankles) and has previously peed outside the litter box. Through changes made at the advice of the behaviorists we have worked with we have completely corrected peeing outside of the litter box and significantly reduced any incidents of aggressiveness. This was primarily achieved through environmental changes (eg. creating a high space in each room which he can access) and play changes (eg. playing with toys that have an object on a string attached to a rod and having him chase the object and when he catches it give him a treat). The right family for Spike is one where all family members will be committed to continuing this type of play and committed to creating the right environment for him.

We are charging a fee of $200 which will be donated to the Savannah Rescue. Any travel costs required will be covered by the adopting family.

Please contact me with questions.

Best,
Anna
