Locked Ajax, F5 SBT

samantha winegarner

Ajax is a wonderful 4.5 year old F5 neutered male Savannah located in northern California that has made it clear he can not live in the same house as another male cat. He loves his people and especially dogs, so a home with a cat-savvy dog would be great. He also would likely do well with a female cat, he very much loves the F2 girl he lives with.?

He has spent his life in quiet adult home with very few human visitors so is often off-put at first by new humans, but he warms up quickly and happily cuddles with anyone after the introduction period. He seems to have no problems with strange dogs though, perhaps due to his family's constant influx of foster canines :-)

Ajax must be "indoors only" but has enjoyed lifelong access to safe outdoor enclosures so special consideration will be given to people who have (or are genuinely going to build) a "catio" or similar. He spends a lot of time out enjoying the fresh air and sunshine and I am sure he would be frustrated to lose that luxury- he gets bored easily! Not a requirement, but very strongly encouraged.?

I trim his claws twice a month and routinely check his teeth and ears so he is good with invasive handling. He has no bad habits: he is faithful to a well-maintained and clean litter pan, loves his scratching posts and cat trees, plays with toys like a kitten, and is the best bedtime cuddler (lots of biscuits and purring!) Just an all-around fun, nice cat. He is "normal cat" sized, but while he is small in stature, he is big in personality :-)

At this point in time he is looking for a home ideally in northern California (currently located in Marin County) but exceptions might be made for the perfect home within reasonable driving distance. He is neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccines and flea preventative. His adoption fee is $200.?

Thank you, and please contact me with any questions.

Samantha
