I hope this message finds you well. I was advised by some Ham enthusiasts to contact my local amateur radio clubs via ARRL and ask for help to spread the word and direct potential buyers to contact me about my late father's radio collection. I have an advertisement on Craigslist [ ] that shows my father's collection available for sale. Prior to his passing, my father had invested greatly in his hobby in gathering a fantastic collection of vintage radios over a long time and we arranged a catalogue with prices. I understand it is unlikely I'll be able to find one buyer to purchase the whole lot however, I have sold units in the past few months reasonably well and need to earn as much as each unit is worth to help my mother financially recover after she has been laid and scammed online. I also understand I am selling to a long standing community who tend to be frugal in the hobby, especially in regards to some items I have such as the "Boat anchors" as they're called, which appeal to a niche portion of the hobby. I also have considered shipping is also going to be difficult for a lot of that equipment because of the size and weight, which I have experienced firsthand with selling via eBay that has impacted reasonable payouts I claimed. At this time, I need to move these units as soon as possible for my mother's sake so please reach out, share the ad with members and other folks you know who may be interested, inquire about select items, and schedule a visit to my home and see the collection, please and thank you.
